Ordering & Delivery Information
Gift Wrapping
If you would like your order gift wrapped in our leafy-bright green wrapping paper, complete with a matching bow, simply tell us so during Checkout. Gift wrapping is provided on every order free of charge.
We can also send the gift, on your behalf to the lucky recipient at a different delivery address. All you have to do is click on ‘Shipping Address’ and add their details. The invoice, unless requested otherwise, will be posted to you, the purchaser.
During the final stage in the checkout process, simply select our gift wrapping service and in the comments box write your message which we will add to your gift. We will also enclose a small gift card with your message if required. Please write a short message in the same area.
Delivery Times
All orders are processed within 24 hours of confirmation of payment. For deliveries within the Sydney Metropolitan area, we estimate 1 -2 days delivery time. For all other locations within Australia, please allow up to 5 working days for delivery of your goods once your order has been made.
Orders are not despatched on non-business days. If you require a more immediate form of delivery, just contact us, and we can make relevant arrangements.
If there are any delays due to stocking reasons, Beanstalk Books will notify you immediately and you have the option of waiting for the book (if it can be ordered), changing or cancelling your order.
International Delivery
Beanstalk Books will deliver to anywhere in the world. We charge the actual cost of delivery and will contact you after you have placed your order to provide a quote. Should you require an estimate of shipping charges prior to placing your order please contact us on karina@beanstalkbooks.com.au.
Delivery to Hospitals
We deliver our books or hampers to any little ones or new parents in hospital using Fastway Couriers. To ensure your gift is delivered to the correct area, please provide us with ward details and ensure your recipient will not have been discharged at time of delivery. If you don’t have this information available, we will contact the hospital to clarify this information for you.
If your recipient has been discharged sooner than expected, please contact us as quickly as possible so a redelivery can be arranged.
Postage / Shipping Rates
Beanstalk Books uses Fastway Couriers for delivery anywhere in Australia.
Postage and packing rates are charged in addition to the retail total of your order after any discounts have been applied, based on the postcode of where you’d like us to send your parcel.
You can proceed though the checkout to confirm postage costs without placing your order. The very last order process is to confirm or decline payment of your order.
Postage rates can be calculated at any time during the ordering process. After adding a book to the shopping cart, simply click on the calculate postage tab to enter in your postcode and a total postage cost will be displayed.
Delivery rates are a flat cost regardless of the number of books in your order:

Deliveries through Fastway Couriers are tracked and signature proof of delivery is required on receipt.
FREE POSTAGE
Orders over AU $50 (excluding hampers) that are shipped within Australia are eligible for FREE SHIPPING. The free shipping offer will be calculated after all member discounts have been applied. This will be automatically calculated at checkout.
Damaged Books, Returns & Refunds
No matter how well we pack your books, on rare occasions your order may be damaged in transit. If this does occur, please contact us immediately on karina@beanstalkbooks.com.au and depending on the item and the damage we shall request the item be returned at our expense and a replacement sent.
Book Hamper Delivery Information
Delivery / Shipping Rates
Our hampers and gifts are easy to order and we can arrange prompt delivery for you anywhere in Australia. After your order has been paid for, delivery instructions will be confirmed via email. We ensure that your gift arrives beautifully packaged in a specially designed gift box with a greeting card. Please advise us of your greeting (if you would like one) at check out.
We use Fastway Couriers to deliver all hampers, and for orders placed before 11.00am (EST) they will be sent out the same day.
Please note that we cannot deliver on weekends or public holidays. Special instructions are welcome and if you would like your hamper to be delivered on a specific date, please use the comment field at checkout to advise us. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays or Public Holidays will be shipped the next business day.
Our hampers are of non standard size and weight and same-day delivery charges are:

Beanstalk Books uses reputable couriers – Fastway Couriers but whilst every care is taken to ensure safe delivery, we cannot guarantee unforeseen circumstances such as theft or damage or a package not arriving at a certain time or place. Your Hamper is insured and any loss or damage by Fastway Couriers will be rectified quickly.

Gift Voucher Delivery Information
Purchasing a Gift Voucher
When you can’t decide what to choose for the little ones in your life, a gift voucher can be purchased for any amount from $20 to $150.
To purchase a Beanstalk Books gift voucher, either click here, or from our home page and click on the gift voucher section. After you’ve decided on the amount to give, proceed to checkout.
Each Beanstalk Books gift voucher is a beautifully presented card which comes in a special matching envelope box with ribbon, and can be redeemed within 12 months of purchase for any item(s) within Beanstalk Books’ range.
We can send the gift voucher to you, or to your recipient including a free personalised card or message.
Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
Redeeming a Gift Voucher
Redeeming a gift voucher is easy. When you receive your voucher, you will receive a gift voucher number stated on the card.
To redeem your Beanstalk Books Gift Voucher, simply start shopping! After filling up your shopping cart – you can spend as little or as much as you like on the voucher at each visit – proceed to checkout.
You will then be asked to login to the website, or if you are not already a Book Club Member, be asked to join as a Member by filling in your name and address details.
On selecting goods to add to your shopping cart, your order total will be deducted from the balance of your gift voucher.
If your order exceeds your gift voucher value, we will ask you to pay the additional charge using one of our many available payment options. We cannot issue refunds if your order is less than your gift voucher value.
Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
